The Hub in Colton

show off a show. our first! that was this shin-dig!! hahah yea!
now this was the FIRST show we ever kopped off the strength of another show! hahah, and how cool was it that the other show just so happened to be our virgin show as a five-piece crew! yea! it felt just like the first time bumpin’ lovelies AFTER gettin’ your nerve-wracked and over-excited virgin bump n’ grind on! hahah, know what i’m saying?? less nerves and the ability to ACTUALLY lay back and ENJOY the ride for more than 15 seconds! hehehe, shezam!!
this time around, however, it was our band fam “The Bomberos” (myspace.com/bomberosmusica) who were hosting the night of live musick at our most livest of I.E. venues, The Hub (http://www.myspace.com/thehubcolton), and it was the Bomberos who oh so graciously invited us to come and play alongside them. how could we refuse?! and just when we thought it couldn’t get any sweeter, even more magic transpired!
several weeks before the show, we saw a Myspace bulletin post for a band named “Busekrus” (myspace.com/busekrustheband) who were soon to be touring the West Coast and who were looking for help from fans, friends and fellow musicians with booking shows! everything happens for a reason, right?! so, we peep’d the post, got in touch, and got them on the bill asap and as soon as we met these guys in-person, ooo weee! it was so on! so so so glad we reached out to their reach-out 🙂 these kats are super live and rock dope fresh jive straight off the isle of Hawaii and it was again thanks to the Internet (we love you Internet!! with your connecting people and providing free porno to the masses oh yea!!) that we were able to connect with this dope rock/ska/pop trio and play a show with them! mos’ definitely, keep an ear out for these guys!
and as always, big ups to our fans, friends, and fam who came through in the clutch oh so bad-ass! they were there in full force, showing up all pumped up and getting down jiggy with all of the bands, helping support the music, the scene, and helping further spread the peaceofmind movement!
yup yup, our movement for peace love unity respect and good music, spreading a message that needs to keep being represented, and one that we will no doubt continue to champion 🙂
once again, a huge thanks to all y’all for the love!! much love guys n’ gals! and we’ll see your beautiful kooky butts at the next show!
peace & love.
